Six weeks after starting it. But I make the excuse that it's a long story, 5,500 words! Now I will sit on it a couple of weeks, re-read it, and spend a couple of weeks getting it under 5,000. Unless I end up spending a couple of weeks getting it over 6,000. Or whatever I end up doing.

I just opened my laptop here in the coffee shop to edit this short story I've been fiddling with and there was your email. I clicked the link, and seconds later here I am. But now I'm going back to the short story.
